PM sent, we'll get this handled for you one way or another.

As for the C100, it does everything the mirror does, minus the actual mirror.

In fact, i'm working on installing it on my bike to use it for the camera locations here, plus i'll get the audio for the V1 on my bike as well. Already use the Vizalert for it.

on rare occasions i have heard/seen a factory mirror "droop". depending on the type, sometimes taking the middle pivoting arm and pulling it all the way down, then angling the factory mirror up will hold it fine. Saw this on a Saturn and it fixed it.

It's good to know that I can use the RDI, even if I end up not being able to keep the mirror.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a shot tomorrow. I didn't even realize the stock mirror pivots in 2 places.

The only car that I've see where the factory mirror is not strong enough to hold the Cheetah mirror is the SMART car.

A followup, primary to state how satisfied I am with customer service. I received a replacement mirror and cord Friday along with a return label for the old one. Works like a charm. With RacerX's help, I also resolved my "droop" problem: raised the stock mirror's lower pivot all the way up and flipped it to the nighttime position. All's well now.

I also received an RDI for the V1. Any tips as to setup/placement/connections are welcome. I'm not looking to do a permanent installation, because I'll probably looking to replace the car within the next year.
