How many people here own a Cheetah product?

Just curious to see how many people here own any of thier products, and if they do or don't reccomend them. I'm thinking about getting the C50 or the GPSMirror. Leaning towards the C50 only because its much cheaper, but the mirror looks pretty sweet too! This unit would run along my V1 that I just ordered too. I've have the 9500ix for months, owned an Escort model for the past 9 years, but now I've decided to make the jump to Valentine.

Anyways, lets just keep this about the Cheetah products...thoughts?

The size of the C50 makes it a great buy. I have the gps mirror and i abs love it. I also have the wireless kit and it has helped quite down my V1 and make my city driving a lot more enjoyable. the Cheetah mirror def takes time getting used to it. Besides i am a desi as well.....haha...

I had a c50 but NEVER saw any red light cameras

QT, always good to see a fellow desi haha. I would love to get the GPSMirror but you can't beat the price of the C50! Plus I like the portability of it too, if I ever travel, have a rental, change cars etc, I can always bring it with me.

Where do you guys have your C50/C100 mounted? Instead of clogging my windshield with various toys, I was thinking a placing the C50 somewhere on the dash, maybe by the instrument panel or in the empty slot underneath my headunit. Does anyone have it mounted elsewhere but the dash? I wonder if that would have a significant impact on the reception of the unit. Thoughts?

i was informed that the c50 does a very good job at picking up the gps signal even it does not have a direct view. you could also buy an external gps antenna. so you might not need to remove the c50 everytime u get outta the car, if you enter an area that is usually known for car thefts.
