As for the gun rental, cross referencing GOLs results with the state specific laser gun list, I think the LTI Ultralyte (125pps rev) or the Marksman would be a good choice; I'll probably go with the Marksman. It did as poorly as the PLII, and is second on OH's list. Now that I think about it, with the exception of the LA, there isn't a gun that GOL tested that would be a poor choice... Seems to me however that my far-from-worst-case application is holding up, Veil arrives tomorrow so hopefully that firms things up even more.

Still keeping a look out for the potential Truspeed, haven't gotten any good laser shots recently to speak of, just a nighttime shot a couple days ago. Once I get the Veil on I'm going hunting.
