finally got hit w/laser. it's been awhile.

Finally got hit w/laser. it's been months. I use to get hit alteast once a wk. then when I put in my zr4/v1 and laserveil setup I only got hit once. so I was itching for a hit. we were just leaving KC. and about a hr. before that I was mentioning to the wife how I was worried if my zr4's were still working and how it would be nice to get hit w/laser. anyways it was about 8:00 pm. pitch black out, heading down the highway just about 5 min. south of kc. came over a hill, and bam. 1st. the v1 went off, then a split second later, the zr4's went off. both front and rear

I have all three heads mounted in front. He hit me for about 10-15sec. straight, until I decided to double tap the mute button, and shut down the zr4 shifters. then all of a sudden he stop hitting me when I was about 50ft. from him.

I just wanted to make sure he wouldnt just hit me and stop, then I would be for sure that he got a reading. but I felt better knowing he stayed locked on me until I hit the button. I didn't want to push my luck and poss. jtg, and have him pull me over out of curiosity. but anyway's that was my excitement for the last few months. besides going to the dragstrip and pulling a 12.0 at 114mph. on slicks and skinnies. So clos to 11's, I can taste it. and it taste like mustang...

Congrads on the performance..It's been along time since i've been hit with laser also.Maybe i'll have to take a few trips down 81 on a nice day in the left lane to see how good my luck is.

GTO: Hey man thats great to hear... its amazing what these jammers can do in real-life scenarios.

mrcllursb: Let me know if you want a trip out-west on 90 I will go with you do a little countermeasures testing.

I haven't been down 81 in awhile... but they always have a ton of enforcement everytime I have ever been there.

Last time i went down 81,i got nailed with laser by a trooper in a new plain Charger.I was going up a slight incline that curved to the left.Soon as i peaked the slight curve,there he was laser in hand in the median shooting out of his window.I got tagged for a good 4 sec then it quit.Sure bro.Next time i'm heading that way i'll send you a pm.Last time i was on the thruway,NYSP were ruthless.I'm glad i have my RX75 lemme tell ya that.Between KA and laser there is no hope for the uneducated motorist..

Congrats on the run at the dragstrip. With cooler weather coming I see 11's in your future!!

They are ruthless! Let me tell you western is worse then eastern (on the thruway at least)... I agree, without countermeasures people are the prosaic 'sitting ducks'.

Yeah anytime you are coming anywhere near CNY just PM me, if I go east in the state, I will contact you... I'll meet ya up within an hour or two from where I live without a problem... always love testing my countermeasures.

@ GTO: those are some quick times! Ive rode in a few '10-second' DD cars, and its unbelievable the 'pull' they have.

Yeah it seems like almost everytime I line up at the track, it's against the mustangs, damn bastages are everywhere...

I finally got to run a new GT500 on the highway. from a 70mph pull to 140 I ended w/about 3-4 cars on him. but in his defense he was a convertible. so alittle heavier, but it did feel great to pull on that 500hp supercharged shelby....

here is a video of me from about 1month ago, I beat a 04 cobra "terminator".
he was pullied,exhaust,tune,cai and put down 440rwhp. enjoy....
Oh yeah at the takeoff you can hear his supercharger, then my exhaust takes over.....

I have a race lined up w/a 2003 z06 with a 100shot of nitrous on wed. if it doesn't rain . he runs a 11.5 at 124mph. but he is on street tires. and launches horribly. if I can pull my usual 1.7 60ft. or maybe a 1.6 60ft. and he pulls a 2.0-2.2 60ft. that will give me .3-.5 sec on him. and I made a ramair setup that goes straight to the t.b. hopefully that will gain me .1-.2 and 1-2 mph. so hopefully that will let me hold him off. I will try to get video of the run win or lose....
