Yeah, don't buy a cobra. Got a little story for you guys... Last night I was at a car show with a bunch of people and saw some really nice cars with cheap a$$ cobra RDs. The one kid was telling me a story about him street racing someone. All of a sudden he goes "and my radar detector picked up him like 3 seconds after I saw him." I go dude thats cuz cobras suck a$$. Hes like "yeah right I wouldnt buy any thing else" I said to him save up some real money and buy a V1 or X50 He's like "hell no I aint spending that much money on a RD"

seriously its much easier to buy an x50 then get a ticket. my grandmom....yes grandmom got a ticket for 42 in a 35(7over, 1st ticket in 60 years of driving) and it was like 345 bucks or something. i paid 330 for my x50 blue. saves once and paid for itself.

you have to admit cobras do look pretty sweet, it sucks that they aren't very good though (at least that's what im hearing about them) i just got my cobra ESD 9110 (not that impressive but it was free) so i guess something better than nothing.

When i bought my 995 the belltronics box told all about how the 10 band protection was a scam because there are only x, k, ka, ku, and laser. Anyway, i learned a lot just by reading the box and I didnt end up buying a cobra (since i was completely ignorant at the time).

Atleast Beltronics doesn't try to bull**** besides maybe the "360 degree laser protection". I'm not sure how true that is even though there is a rear sensor.

Seriously..your freaking crapras are giving me too many falses on Ka and gave me a freakin heart attack when it went full Ka instantly. Also crapra aint guna do no good for you cuz chances are by the time you seee the cop..its too late. Just remember if your going to buy a crapra, your going to piss so many people off with radar detectors and were just going to take your crapra and smash it against the concrete. srry if im being mean but just do your research and dont buy crapra. thxs
