526,000?! Good God man! What's gone wrong in the engine so far?
Engine has all the parts in it from when we first got it (IE, pistons, crank, rods, etc.) The alternator has been replaced a few times... rear main seal had to be replaced, belts, etc, but internally, it's still the original parts.

Like DPatel said... it's still quite early (they usually don't get excited until the 600k mark) and the fact that I haven't got the odometer fixed probably voids it from the hall of fame .
Most (about 80%) of the miles are highway miles. My dad drove it to work from Columbia, SC to Charlotte, NC 2x a week for work. We moved to Charlotte then they moved him again, so he drove it from Charlotte to Raleigh twice a week... and now it get's driven from Charlotte to Shelby 3x a week. (and those figures are just one way, it's actually twice for the return trip).
Toyota knows how to make cars that last... granted if I even tried to sale it now, I doubt I'd get $500 for it lol. I'll drive it 'til it seizes. I'll get a pic up sometime tomorrow.
When all the Cobra people slow down before the giant radar-emitting asteroid hits, you won't be so smug my friend...Your arrows will not save you. This is a known fact. Get used to it so death will be a sweet release.

That went way over my head.

I think the simple answer to the "Cobra pointed to the sky" issue is that they come with that horrible mount. It is bent about 45 degrees stock. For most windshields, it needs to be bent to reach the proper level. More like 25 degrees. Nobody does this.
Most users just plug-and-play. This means their mounts are still at the stock angle, i.e. pointed at the sky...

In MY honest opinion, the V1 mount is the best of them all. Anyone agree?
I agree. The V1 mount is much sturdier than my 9500ix mount. The exception to this is that the V1 mount sucks in a car with a windshield with not much slope. I had my V1 in the HHR that I rented for GOL 2008. It was pretty piss-poor in that car.
