Default Cobra site has specs for new detectors posted

I know, I know, they are still Cobras. But dang! They sure have packed a lot of crap into the new "high end" ones.

Here's link to the specs of the 9960G. They're up to "15 bands" now.

But seriously, they have directional arrows for the GPS alert. They are claiming Spectre "IV+" detection, and have Ka and laser freq. ID.

Okay, so just make these things actually detect radar and they'd be hot items.

Even their own marketing idiots don't have a clue.

3 of the 7 radar bands they claim to be able to detect are the VG-2, Spectre 1 and Spectre 4+. And of course, they're warning us to be prepared for the future introduction of Ku band in the US.

At least their detectors look nice.

Oh I know. I'm just suprised by the directional arrows for the GPS-related stuff and the band ID for Ka. And you have to admit, the screen is a lot better than anything the Belscort folks make. I know, screen means nothing. But it'd be nice, like Veil Guy had said, if Belscort could advance a little more in that department.
Look, don't misjudge me, nothing about this post is a "gee, gotta get that Cobra!" thing. I'm just pointing out they finally posted the specs on the website.

I bought a compass at a truck stop for $3. It sticks to my windshield and doesn't have to be plugged in so that it can work.

Yep, you're right. I knew it was something you only saw on the GPS one and was thinking it was the database. But according to the info, it's the "RDA GPSL55 GPS Locator."
