    Default Wow, I'm a hypocrite.

After saying so many times on here that "A Crapra is a Crapra is a Crapra," I just bought one at Best Buy for my dad for his birthday. An XRS 9300.

Now, let me clear my name here--I would not have bought it for him if I didn't *know* that he has a fairly soft foot and only goes about 5 over (which makes a Crapra as good of a detector as he needs), and because I was able to get it for under half of the $100 retail price.

I'm going to look at another Best Buy later this week for the Whistler DE-1730 as a backup for myself. They were sold out at the one I work at.

Wow... when it comes to cheap detectors, I prefer whistler. I picked their low end model up for like 35 bucks from work when it was on sale.

Tsk tsk tsk... you should know better than that!

    A philosophical thought for you:

Some day, your paths may cross on the highway of life. And when you do, your X50 will false.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Wow, I forgot that this thread existed. The Cobra's sitting on my kitchen table, btw, waiting to be sent to Cobra for repair. It seems to be a Descartes detector--falsing on Ka in the middle of nowhere with nothing to detect but itself. It thinks, therefore, I suppose, it is?

I got the Whistler, BTW. It's in my girlfriend's car.
