Showed Cobra user it sucked!

Today while making deliveries, I was talking to this guy who was unloading my trailer about some electronics and such things. What do you know, his Cobra rd even got brought up. Instead of LOL I smiled, but then I thought, I have my Bushnell k band radar gun w/ me, maybe I can put his Cobra to the test. He was shocked I had a radar gun w/ me. So I radared his Cobra and it didn't even go off! At this point I had all I could do to contain myself. I then took him over to my truck which I had the Bel STi plugged in, and showed him what was supposed to be happening when K band radar is going off. He was shocked by all means. I informed him since he is on a budget, to get rid of his Cobra rd and pick up a Whistler which will fare much better for him. He agreed, shook my hand and said thx. It feels so good to steer a Cobra user over to a Whistler.

You should have showed him how his Cobra interferes with other RDs too.

Yeah, but he was parked off to the side unlike me backed in a dock. I didn't want to have all of his co workers asking too many questions. Too bad he wouldn't let me run over it w/ the trailer tires. There wouldn't have been much left.

Reminds me of a conversation I got into with a Cobra using trucker. He was telling me how well it worked and how he had even got over 1 mile alerts. I was telling him about the STI and stealth, spectre etc. He seemed satisfied with his performance and stood his ground. Then as we parted he told me ha had a suspended license from a ticket he had not paid in California. Then he said he had gotten 3 speeding tickets in the last year. I just smiled and said Dude, you really need to invest in an STI.

Sometimes it takes showing the Cobra user how bad it actually is if we have time. At least he seemed interested in a Whistler. Due to money problems, I told him to go look at at Whistler XTR-220.

If that dude was driving with a suspended licenses and a Cobra, he was certified retard anyway. People like that are not going to listen to your good advice. But I think you got some good karma for trying to get another Cobra off the road.
