Haha yes, it should be called nothing WANTS to come close to a cobra due to false alerts and Junk signals.

Higher end Cobras do not set off other detectors. I need to do some testing on their new low end models to see if they do or not. I doubt they shielded those well enough to prevent falses.

My v955 causes my 9960 to false on X of all things. I'd like to see how well this little thing does. As someone mentioned earlier, that's a step up for a bargain basement detector. Pop open an ESD7000 and you can't even see the horn. Remember, these things sell for $30 or so. What's funny is, if you look at the manual, you can turn off every band!

That's nice, but when it comes to cheaper detectors I can't tell a difference in sensitivity with all of the bands on or off.

Wonder how many here have filed FCC complaints, and how many it would take for them to do something about it?

Part 15's conditions are clearly outlined.
    they don't leak, they RADIATE
    like any other superheterodyne device

a leak is an accident or mistake
this is a consequence of CHEAP

Exactly, cobra radar detectors = garbage. I'd rather run freeballin then use a cobra, due to the fact that the cop might cut me a break verses seeing the detector, laughing in my face and giving me no break.

That rip will open a hole to other dimensions, which will radiate as-of-yet unknown energy into our universe in the form of an intense, focused beam. This beam will ping off of a satellite and accidentally end up targeted at the Large Hadron Collider, which will smash atoms at the speed of light and create a Higgs Boson at that exact instant. The unknown energy beam will react with the Higgs Boson, creating a rift in space that will reverberate back through the timeline to the beginning, unleashing the explosion we now know as the Big Bang.

Ironically, the shockwaves from this event destroyed the universe at the same instant they created it, thereby causing a paradox in which Cobra radar detectors simultaneously resulted in the beginning and the end of time.

And that, my friends, is why God invented Cobra radar detectors.
This is the most amazing theory I've ever encountered, you're a genius!
