Not bad.
Keep them coming.
tons of time to slow down
Wow that's really impressive. Cobra is stepping up their game.
I must be blind, I never spotted the space ship.
Haha sike, yea that was pretty good detection against C/O Ka Forward Facing. I was testing my crappy cobra last week with my Falcon K-Band gun and it was missing all the shots 1-2 seconds long which is terrible. Pretty much you're defenseless against most I/O and any Q/T. Works good for most C/O though.
Yeah a cobra with C/O is not bad, as seen with your video.
But test it out with even a bushnell K gun and do a Q/T and it wont pick up at all. It will take 3-4 seconds to alert, unfortunately.
Yeah, I believe you are right. I know when I first heard of people bashing the Cobra units, I was very confused. I've ran a few Cobras, but all I ever encounter in my area is constant on, therefore the Cobras all performed damn near equally to Whistlers, Escorts, and even the Valentine on some occasions. I'm still pretty certain that I haven't encountered QT or IO, so I haven't been able to test anything out involving those methods. But I have noticed a big lack of performance from the Cobras when it comes to obstructions and curves. If Cobra was to invest some money and time into working on sensitivity issues, I really believe their higher end units would be worthy of being ranked along side the other "top dog" units currently on the market. Instead, they are more worried about the LCD screens and what not, which does accomplish their goal of bringing in more money I suppose.
The areas where i can test run both C/O and I/O. But very rarely I/O. Only certain state police...I had a I/O i believe but i didn't get it on video. It was taking my gf home they run k band. It bleeped for a second...then went off...then it came back on...went off...but i couldn't see him it was to dark. I was kind of disappointed. I know what your saying about the 1-2 second delay but def not 3-4 for my unit at least. I've sat in my car and held is down I always get about 1 second delay on the bushnell. My next day off i'll set up something with my buddy and run a I/O test get some video coverage for ya'll.
The range was good but the alert tone sounds like my roommates alarm clock lol
That's about the same performance I get with my 9960G. I think his rear antenna was on. I get almost no detection on some encounters no matter what detector I use. Even with possible reflections of radar I don't see me getting over a mile of detection on any detector due to the physical limitations of these frequencies.
