I'd say 95% of cars I see in general are crap units. When I see someone with an Escort, Valentine, or high-end Bel, I actually stop and talk to them.

The most common detectors I see are V1's and 8500's. Close behind are the 9500ix's and occasionally ci's. Last is the Redline, as I've only seen one in a Mustang on a supercup. None of these include enthusiasts that I know.

As far as sh*t detectors are concerned, my sti-r usually alerts to them then I'll see the black suction cups holding a cheap RD at the bottom of the windshield. I don't really know the different cheap models.

I have only seen 1 V1 EVER. If it isn't a Cobra, I usually see mid line Escort or Belltronics.

Yea, I usually only see mid to low level line Escort's if anything. However, on my commute, nobody has RD's at all. I've so far seen 1 cobra and 1 Escort.

There was once a state trooper blasting C/O Ka 34.7 on a wide open highway and nobody cared, everyone still was going +15 passed him, and none of these cars had any jammers or RDs. Some people deserve getting a speeding ticket. I stopped flashing my lights to warn drivers on the opposite side when I saw a speed trap ahead for them, because most people just plain deserve it.
