umm, it's a chicken test for sure but I have seen this model operating with these models and I have see no drematic performance fall off whatsoever.
Your assertion that all Cobra's leak like sieves isn't valid as this would imply that they false to many other detectors viciously and frankly they just don't DJ.
as I pointed out before spectre is designed to catch LOW SIGNALS OTHER THEN THE RADAR BANDS, otherwise it would false to every door opener from here to TimbuktuThe truth of the matter is that Cobras leak like a sieve, nore than any other brand I've tested. Anyone with a Spectre can attest to that.
It depends on the original low freq where these harmonics will fall.A leaky detectos LO emissions may or may not make another detector alert, but that has less to do with the leaky detector and has more to do with how well other detectors filter out the detectors with the leaky LOs. LO emmisions have 2nd and third harmonics that sometimes fall into the K and Ka band. Other detectors have to filter these signals out.
These l/O's have been changed in freq. to minimize these effects do you know in almost all newer detectors
Newer spectres have been redesigned to rediscover these new freq btw.
It doesn't mean they are in the radar bands
Your now as it commonly called "moving the goal posts"It's more complicated than this , but basically, detectors filter leaky detectors by verifying that the K or Ka band signal that they have detected, is not accompanied by the corresponding first and/or second harmonic. Having to constantly filter this stuff lowers their performance of the detector having to filter out the leaky Cobra and raises the radar detection noise floor.
It isn't enough that new Cobra's have been proven NOT to set other detectors off like a A bomb air raid
you want them to play together perfectly nice too. LOL !
well, from what I have seen now many many many many times as YOU WELL KNOW detectors users have this same problem running very high end Rd units together that aren't "stealth-ed"
not just Cobra's
inspite of their superior filtering.
But if you like you can run your Escort 95ooI together with the Cobra and see what you get.
