Not true at all. There are many credible tests out there. This article ain't one of them. Like I said, the fact that you think it to be more credible than GoL, speaks volumes.
lets see you don't believe R/R tests do you

you have major problems with Speedzones

Craig Peterson we can off course forget about too.

what tests other then yours do you actually approve of ?

I believe my assertions speak more volumes then yours

especially since I am not alone at all in them

There is nothing Wrong with Cobra RD's. Not everybody can afford a V1, STi, Redline or some other top of the line RD.
Cobra just happens to fit the price needs of more people then other brands. When you need to buy something like a TV, you may want the top of the line unit but may not be able afford it, so you buy what you can afford, that's the same thing with RD's. If you can afford a top of the line unit, that's great...Since I live in the Police State of Virginia, I'd love to have a Redline or better yet a STi-R but I can't afford those right now...You can say that Cobra's leak and whatever...All Electronics leak some amount of EMI. Some electronics leak more then others...If you know of and can prove that Cobra RD's interfere with other electronics, call the FCC and report it (Give them the FCC ID number for the unit). There is a tag (FCC ID) on all electronics that indicates that it has been tested and passed the FCC requirements for EMI.

    That happens to me too.

just to add to your statement

I have tested newer more expensive Cobras with other detectors including Bells and they don't set them off.

but Bells and other detectors will set these Cobra's off !

spectre emissions by the l/O are a different story

different set of emissions then traffic radar

these Cobra's are immune to the spectre 1 though I believe.

I am not saying that Cobra RD should be tossed out the window. I just meant that I personnaly wouldn't buy them for lack of trust. It's better to have a cobra than nothing at all

That's probably the worst article I've ever read.

The writer doesn't have a clue about detectors.

The article is full of subjective opinions and concludes that the Cobra "probably" is as good as the 9500.

The reference that the packaging only lists 13 specific bands instead of the 15 as advertised basically sums up the author's knowledge of the subject.

And that it is being vigorously defended by the OP is hardly surprising...
