Not true at all. There are many credible tests out there. This article ain't one of them. Like I said, the fact that you think it to be more credible than GoL, speaks volumes.

just to add to your statement

I have tested newer more expensive Cobras with other detectors including Bells and they don't set them off.

but Bells and other detectors will set these Cobra's off !

spectre emissions by the l/O are a different story

different set of emissions then traffic radar

these Cobra's are immune to the spectre 1 though I believe.

I am not saying that Cobra RD should be tossed out the window. I just meant that I personnaly wouldn't buy them for lack of trust. It's better to have a cobra than nothing at all

The article is full of subjective opinions and concludes that the Cobra "probably" is as good as the 9500.

The reference that the packaging only lists 13 specific bands instead of the 15 as advertised basically sums up the author's knowledge of the subject.

And that it is being vigorously defended by the OP is hardly surprising...

It a personal review from someone that no doubt has used detectors before.

Problem is Cobra blows when I/O is used.
Any detector can pick up C/O at some distance.
