Thanks a lot Roy. Roy, do you have a direct link to this particular test?

I can't find one anywhere except the home shopping channel !

Your not inferring this will be their last test EVER I hope ?

Please say your not ! I do like Speedzones and have a long time fan of their site

Here is a more direct link to the video for anyone that wants to look at the test results. I believe they show the speedzones results somewhere in the middle.

After about 4 months in the Houston area, I have been very happy/satisfied with my "Crapbra" 9970G.

The 9970g is still a very good detector IMO.

My cobra built on the same platform has very good off axis pick up of radar signals better then my newer cobra in fact !

It blows away my newer designed stinker Whistler 78 se in this regard and is much more reliable in picking up radar.

The 78 SE is a VERY hit and miss detector

People love whistlers but the ones I have have been below par detectors

since the newer ones are still designed around the older platforms I see no reason to believe they are any better then these were.

Mazda has been running a lot of television ads lately. They say Heinrick R. Hertz invented radar when it was actually Scotsman Robert Watson Watt in 1935 when he showed the Royal Air Force its ability to identify British bombers from seventeen (17) m
Buck, I don't know if you're being serious or not here about SML and their testing?? Can you clarify???
