    Default Cobra Radars

Have you guys heard of "Cobra" radar?
Is it any good? Because I was gonna buy one from a friend (don't remember the model) for $150, but wasn't sure if it was a good deal.

    Thanks.

cobra is just average IMHO. i had it and it didint save me. your friend is obviously trying to rip you off and you better off with a whistler pro or bel vector in that price range.

NO don't buy a cobra, I don't think anyone here would tell you to buy one... I had one for one day hated it. It leaks, it drives me crazy everytime I pass close to one.. If you want depending from what you want to spend buy a Whistler they are good and cheap :!: . I have a Whistler PRO 58 A++

!. Your so called friends are ripping you off. You can buy from Roy http://www.radarbusters.com/products/cobra/9730.asp for less and have a new unit.

    2. Well Cobra is not regarded as a great detector, I personaly don't think they are as horrible as they are made out to be, there certainly are much worst detectors. My friend has one, his choice, it's alright, I would not buy one personaly. But as long as you understand its capabilities.

I would have to agree... for the light speeders 4-5over (Max), they may work, personally I would never use one... but I guess its better then nothing at all...

I would have to say my biggest complaint about Cobras honestly is them setting off my detectors, plain and simple... it just ticks me off.
