Is this true? why and when? Is Ku band a great threat?. is it hard for detectors with ku to detect? (i know open ended)

Go here to learn more about Ku band. I wonder if radar detectors that pick up Ku band will be affected by civilian satellite communications because I believe it is the same band.

Are you talking satellite TV systems or something else?

No, not unless you get the new XXX500 with green lights.

Why the heck would anyone want to go to ku band radar other than to try to defeat older radar detectors? The frequency is so low you run into the same problems x-band had, differention of vehicles from too wide a beam. I say it is a big step backword...

also doesn't a whole lot of communications equipment run right in this very same band...??

You always make it a battle between the x50 and V1. Its rather tiresome. Also BigEasy, your the one that seems to be impressed with the lights

And the obvious answer is no, the x50 can not. So go turn on your KU Band, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out
