This morning I met erickonphoenix for breakfast, and then we went to a industrial area to do some testing on his SR7 with ZR3 jammer equipped C6 Corvette.
A few baseline runs established that my LTI 20-20 could clock his car with no jammers on, and front tag installed at about 2100 feet from the front at times, and pretty much every time from 1800 feet and closer.
From the rear with no jammers, I could clock him out to about 3100 feet consistantly.
Once he cut his jammers on, it became more difficult to get a reading on the front of his car. I did get punch throughs at 2176, 1683, 1508, 1247, 572, and 221 feet, but at least half the time I pulled the trigger it wasn't able get a speed reading.(all aiming at the center of the car)
He removed his front issued TX plate from the front, and on the next run I got punch throughs at 916 and 642 feet.(center aiming) When he was within 300 feet I could get them if I aimed at the headlight, and away from the center of the car.
Rear jamming was less effective compared to front jamming. I got punch throughs at 703, 759, 803, 892, 1275, 1598, 1807, 2069, and 2311 feet.
If Windows Movie Maker would work without errors, the video I edited today would be posted by now. It may have to wait until I get home to one of my systems with a real video editing program installed.
