    Default Braking test

    Guys of Lidar:

I noticed you had an 'on brake test' and was very impressed to see this. I think this is a great idea, drive 20 over a specific speed and try to hit that speed once the RDD alerts. I'd like to see a lot more of this type of thing, rather than just distances. Great job on the tests too, thanks.

I thought this was very interesting too, I am sure we'll be trying more things like this in the future.

In the videos, you will be able to see that in many cases when countermeasures were used, the vehicles were actually targeted for a number of seconds before a speed lock is achieved. In many of these situations, a driver could easily slow down before punchthrough occurs.

Listing the distances should provide a rough idea of what point one would become more vulnerable to an officer using laser at closer ranges.

in the Video if we ask Outrun he can start a counter...that way you can see how many second it took to get under the speed limit

I was thinking of suggesting a timer like "start of alert to punchthrough," but it sounds like you guys have thought of that already.

Unfortunately, the rain kept you guys from doing the "Sethy-runs-at-the-lidar-gun-with-and-without-veil-on-his-sunglasses" test, but there's always next year.
