    Default HAHA! New Peterson 'test'!!!

    http://motortrend.com/features/consu...ide/index.html

    Can anyone explain how this tool scored the V1 highest (88 points), but, then ranked it 2nd to lowest for value? For my money, value is equivalent to the the efficiency and usefulness of the product...V1 stomped the others, why the hell did he rank it's value so low?

    Just another example of how much of a tool he is.

    (except Valentine One, who chose not to participate or observe SMLís tests)

    The V1 isn't tested by SML? Kinda odd if you ask me.. :roll:

    Peterson doesn't like Mike Valentine....and I suspect the feelings are mutual.
    I just bought a new V1 and must say that I have found some of CP's claims about the V1 absolutely false...... :roll:
    For what it's worth.
    I am starting to "depend" less and less on these "tests" when buying any counter measures. I follow them more for "entertainment".
    Real Tests like the Feedback or Videos of our Forum Members and the Hard work of the Guys of Lidar is to me more valuable than all these "desert" tests etc.
    I don't know about you guys but I drive in the real world not in a controlled environment.

    He is talking about the cost for total coverage when you add in the blinder and its installation you are looking at almost $900 to protect against laser as well. The other detectors with their own companies integrated laser protection is considerably less money. That is the value part, but I think you get what you pay for. :?: :?:

    Eh, pardon me...but what does Motortrend's review have to do with Craig Peterson?

    SML is not affiliated with Radartest.com. They are two entirely separate entities.

    Car & Driver is yet a different entity altogether.

    Craig Paterson = Automobile Magazine
    SML = Motortrend
