During the last tests a prototype Laser Interceptor was tested and the one subsequently sold differed from it, although subsequent non-GOL tests have shown it to be the jammer to beat.
Laser jammers are not sold retail over the counter. they have to be ordered from a distributor. The recent CFL and CT tests produced results that were unexpected which suggests there may be a difference between different batches of units.
For the upcoming tests, how does GOL make sure it is getting a unit similar to what one would get if they ordered it from the distributor - that is that GOL is testing a non-prototype, non-manufacturer /distributor tweaked standard "retail" unit so users will have a reasonable expectation that if properly installed on a similar vehicle their own jammer will produce similar results?
