At some point I remember reading [I think from a Laser Interceptor rep] that the difficulty in programming laser jammers is not in figuring out how to jam a particular LIDAR gun, but rather how to jam it without a jam code.
So that raises my question of whether standard programming is a compromise between performance and avoiding jam codes.
And, hence, could current jammer performance be improved by rewriting programming without regard for avoiding jam codes?
I understand that many people wish to use jammers in areas where they are illegal and a jam code could lead to penalties. However, jammers are perfectly legal in Florida...hell, I'd be perfectly happy for a LEO to know that I'm jamming his gun
