Default V1 Detection Range on X w/filtering Results

This is a VERY rough draft. I am very upset because my laptop crapped out on me and had all my results on it, but I typed up some brief results on what I found...

Also excuse the crappy webpage, I had to make one up sort of fast so I could just display the results.

Nice job and I agree pretty much with what you say about the V's filtering "in city" It isn't good! The rest is pretty accurate too... I quit using my V for JUST this reason and the fact it has that crappy manual mute on it that drove me crazy in town!!. I have a Bell that I run now with "tech display" and it is absolutely excellent for picking out and avoiding false signals! Tech display is the ONLY WAY! 8) I can drive right thru a shopping district and using the display know exactly when a real police car is coming the other way.. 8)

But seriously, have you turned off POP? In my tests of the V1 1.8 without POP it falsed much less than the Passport and Bel in city driving The X 50 drove me crazy falsing on K band at every shopping center it passed. It reminded me of the old Spectrum 2 that used to false at every burglar alarm it passed.

For this test, I left everything on including POP.

I found the best results for the V1 to be with POP off and operating in the A mode.
