Default Finally recived my Kustom Pro Lidar Gun

UPS dropped off my Kustom Pro ll Lidar/Laser gun Tuesday. I am happy to have finally received it. I was some what disappointed on how chipped up the paint was. The gun it self is in excellent condition and was last certified 14 months ago, compliments of FSP. I am sending it out next week to get current certification. I would love some input on what I should have done.

Oh man...a word to the wise. Do not trust your jammer setup until you have tested it with a lidar gun! After only about 96 seconds of holding a PLII for the first time, I was able to get almost instantaneous PT's on my j-15's! A definite repositioning of my jammer heads must be done. This was my exact reaction to the event: A big THANK YOU!! to Jstglockem for helping test the setup.

Oh...BTW. To everyone on this forum, do not buy anything from "that" particular company! Their stuff DOES NOT WORK at all! And I mean AT ALL!

Exclamation Re: Finally recived my Kustom Pro Lidar Gun

So this being my first time with my new/used toy. I found very quickly that the only way to be sure is to have it tested. We did two cars on Saturday and it took less then a min to get a reading on each car. Any where from 200ft up 1200ft. More times then not the V1 did not make a sound. This was from the front with one of the best jammers on the market. position and proper leveling truly is everything. I was amazed at the time it took for the gun to get a reading. Basically it literately was like a blink of an eye. That fast. There is no way in the world you are going to defeat laser unless you have a jammer. I have totally rethought my setup that I am going to put on my Excursion. It truly is addicting. I hope the Pros do something on the East Coast in the Spring. (hint hint) In the event that the owners give me the " OK " I well post some of the videos.

You can post my video if you'd like, i'd prefer if you could somehow edit my license plate # out or something? Or try to get shots with just teh car.

and minati is right "that company" is so useless i almost cried.

again, thanks so much jst for helping us out. really appreciate that.

and jst is right, positioning and the heads being level is really important. For my car passenger headlight and center mass was nearly JTG, i think he only got a reading a few times, but my drivers headlight was getting PT at the far corner i believe. so was minati's. in the exact same spot.

Minati had one m25 head above his license plate, and it's clear that one head is not powerful enough. we got PT almost every time from gun.
It was a fun day, we're gonna meet up again once jst gets his LIs, and minati and i perfect our positioning of our heads. then we can join the JTG crowd

jst has the videos, but i think we're only going to post one or two, we're all amateurs at this, so they're not too pretty but we tried.

We were kicked out of our first spot by security, and i was given the finger while playing around waiting for one of the cars to set up -_-"

testing, testing, testing, that's what it's all about. It's vital to have a new system tested before placing any confidence in it. It's a good idea to test them every few months too. We have found several systems over the last few years that have heads that are defective.
