    Default Finally tested my setup.

Finally got my setup tested. The testing grounds was ~700 feet with a hill to test roof line PTs. I was JTG/JFG on almost everything. The corners of my roof on the front got readings and then languy was also able to pick off my antennas! The two guns used were the PLII and Marksman 20/20.

Anyway, thanks again languy and proudNMAmember for helping me test my setup.

You are welcome. Your setup was nice w/ the exception of the CB radio which needs to be hooked up again for power concerns. Oh well I say.

I found it interesting when Languy was using QT on 33.8, 34.7, 35.5 and k band radar. The Whistler Pro 78SE while in either Ka Norm or Ka Max mode w/ POP turned on, performed the best of the rd's. The V1 did very well also against QT and for the sensitivity testing we did. The Redline did NOT do so well against QT, but on the sensitivity testing it did quite well. Protias and Languy have nice LJ setups so hats off to your two! My X50 didn't do too well against 34.7 and 35.5 w/ POP mode turned off. Once it was turned on, the X50 started alerting quicker to 34.7 and 35.5? I got slammed w/ I/O 35.5 on my way home and w/ pop turned on, it gave me enough time to slow down. Weird I say?

Besides the bad grounding, I think there might be something wrong with the radio too. A few weeks ago, I heard a high pitched squeal come from it and only after turning it off and on again did it go away. This happened 2-3 times during my trip.

If I had the software to edit videos, then yes (or at least I hope as I'm not sure how many hours a 32gb memory card can hold).

You should post (or link to) some pics of your as-tested setup so people can see what works.

That is just the front. I'll have to find the rear.

I know I can use Sony Vegas 9 or Adobe Premiere, but I don't have those kind of funds right now.
