Default Want to Test the new Whistler 3600?

If anyone here with guns and testing experience wants to test the new Whistler 3600, let me know. I'll buy one, you test it, post your results, and return it to me when finished.

Whenever a new RD comes out everyone always says "I might buy one after I see how well it does in testing..." I'll call your bluff

Vouch swamp, a great guy with a passion for the hobby.

I think the problem at present is that while the detector has been released, no one actually has it for sale yet...

The sooner this changes, the better.

(Quoting Michael B from the Whistler Forum)
    $479 is the MSRP

The street price will most likely be lower.
Some currently offered accessory links are listed on the 3600 page.

Future modules are being discusses and evaluated
When NEW modules are released, I will post something on the forum.

3600 will be shipping out of the warehouse early next week.

    Happy Holidays

I'd be happy to test it. Let me know what type of testing you want.

I'd like to see the following tests: approaching C/O through some twists and turns to see how well it does on weak &/or off-axis signals.
Then repeat the above tests except use I/O bursts of 3-5 seconds every 10-15 seconds.
Then do it again with with Q/T bursts every 10-15 seconds.
I'm especially interested in the 3600 for possible Q/T detection.
The above is just a suggestion; the main thing is that the test conditions be repeatable and the results be carefully documented so people can get the best idea possible of what the 3600 can do.
If tests could be done on a test course that has been used for testing other RD's, that's even better.

Also, a freshly tuned or purchased V1 3.873 and/or Redline for benchmarking purposes.

Numbers on a course mean nothing without a comparison detector.
