Looking forward to the new Solo 3 test results.

I like the Solo3's looks and have been looking for the first report on how well it performs and if it is as quiet as the top windshield mounts in the filtering dept too. Since Escort reported more performance than the Solo2 I am curious how much and what freq's did they improve on. Anybody seen any good numbers on the Solo3?

I can't give you any specifics but if memory serves me correct, there wasn't anything spectacular and new found in the solo 3 besides the oled display which improves battery life. Sensitivity is more or less the same.
There was a guy on here who had one and he ran it against the usual door openers and said he wasn't too impressed when compared to his 8500.

I saw a video where they said it was tweaked and had better performance, but have not seen it tested yet. No major changes is another thing I remember them saying also.

Maybe the Escort Rep could chime in and give us some info. I saw on another forum claims of 30% better performance. I am specifically interested in its 35.5 and 34.7 performance gains.

amazing how Ben Stein has changed but that movie is 25 years old now.

It is based off the express-platform... so fairly lackluster. Only testing will tell, but I don't hold out too much hope. On that note though... when my E795 was in it's prime, it really detected pretty well!
