The End Is Near

Ok guys, it is almost Nov. and we still have all been on the edge of our seats waiting for some GOL test results on many of the new/updated detectors that have emerged over that past year. I know that the actual test dates are a secret, but can any of you guys actually confirm that you will or have tested these new products and that we might see some results before year end?

I'm anxiously awaiting a comparison of multiple redline units vs. multiple V1 3.892 units.

Especially instant on tests and long sweeping curves, like one encounters while driving on interstates.

Curious how close the current V1's and Redlines do on 35.5 on and off axis. Pretty sure they will test real close on all other bands and freqs. Obviously V1's will own rear detection with their awesome rear protection.

Man, I hope so. I was hoping that someone in the "know" would answer that question. It seems rather late in the year compared to some of their tests in years past, but better late than never I'd say.

But seriously I'd love to see some (more reliable) test results that included the Redline, latest V1, BEL sti-r plus, etc.....

Its tougher than it sounds. Everyone has a busy life/career.
GOL members live all over the US (Canada too!)
Every time we meet, we collectively spend thousands of dollars on travel, accomodations, rental test vehicles, not to mention detectors and jammers. We've spent thousands of our own dollars to own most lidar and radar guns that are used in the US/Canada.

But, all that being said, there will be more tests.

Indeed test like this must be extremely hard to pull off.

You need to do it all through a internet webcam conference call.

I wish it was near!

It's time for me to update my gear, and I'm hungry for updated info.

Guess I need stop complaining and put some money in the kitty for GOL :-)
