Default New test video: Rocky Mountain Radar vs POP mode!

A couple videos were added to my site today. This video clearly shows that Rocky Mountain Radar does not work as claimed. On the brochure it says that "micro-scan" detects POP mode 100% of the time. This definitely wasn't the case in my tests.

To see the new test video please visit my website. Test #8.

    Enjoy!

Great work! I am surprised at the results.....

That RMR was able to detect the gun at all......

I guess the performance of at least one of their units has improved
    by 25%.... :P

I just added yet another video to my site for a total of 3 videos. This new video shows 3 radar scramblers in night vision that prove they are on the entire time. You'll love it.

Why did you take away the tuning fork so fast? You should of held it there for a while.

This is how it would be in a normal situation. An officer will point the gun and hold down the trigger in pop mode just long enough to get a reading and quickly let go of the trigger to make sure the radar detector doesn't go off. It would serve no point to hold onto the trigger any longer because you already have the speed. If the speed is a violation then you press the trigger all the way down and the speed will lock in.

I would figure the officer would hold hold POP until you came pretty close to him (at leat for 1 whole second) and get a good look at the speed. He would figure the 67ms bursts would not be detected by most detectors, so no need to use manually instant on in pop mode.

What your clip shows is POP+Instant on.

No, it's not POP + instant on. It's purely POP and you can see this because of the POP window saying "POP." There are two levels to the trigger. The first level is for POP mode and if the officer wants to lock the speed he presses the trigger into the next stage and this send out the instant on and locks it in.
