Very impressive car!

If you watch Alex Roys GoogleTalk he references this car. He said it was the most advanced road rally car he ever saw even eclipsing his Polizie144 car. But it failed it's CC run because it didn't have one key factor. Redundancy.

If you haven't seen it and you have a free hour check it out. It's very informative for a lot of reasons. More than just driving, good problem solving issues are covered. Nice if you manage a team that has to deal with challenging projects.

It's been posted before recently on this forum but here it is again

Well that R8 never made a Cross country run it was just entered on the Bullrun Rally and the systems failed cause they didn't have a protocol

Speeding, of course! Popped by a motorcycle cop in AZ, exceeding 85mph according to the ticket. In and out with fine and bail paid in about an hour.

Thats insane, i guess the cop was using instant on, and i would have ran from the cops with having this reputation on my sleve, after spending all that money they get popped. With that car you could easily run from him but if he got behind you then pull over. I will always try to get away if i can, like if i know he got my speed i will try to get away until i see him in my rvm and then i will pull over, your not going to get a ticket if you do it smart/right

Damm that sucks ba**s

All the crap in that car are just tools. He obviously thought he was invincible, or not rabbit-worthy. I don't care, PAY someone(s) to drive in front of you at the same speed, so that you have SOME protection.
