You must be pushing 200+ mph on daily basis with all that gear! lol. It would be cool to have your kind of money and do all of that but seriously, isn't that overkill? JMO?

I actually just had a thought...

Isn't it funny that we have to have all that gear to drive fast, yet in Germany on the open parts of the Autobahn, you can whatever vehicle you have however fast you want? Yes, the culture is different, and the licensing process is much better, but, still.....living the dream they are...

IR night vision would certainly work better if the imaging unit were kept chilled, but if this is just a night vision unit why the need for secrecy? Alex Roy had a night vision camera on his M5 and felt no need to keep it a secret. Also, the "it's not illegal yet" comment leads me to believe it's something new and quite different than a mere FLIR.

I guess we'll find out when Agent R8's book is published.

I think it's a decoy. A piece of junk he dug out of a scrap pile and bolted on with hoses and wires hanging off, just to screw with people's heads and hope for some psychological advantage out of it.

As for his book, if he wants to win, he should spend more time reading than writing.

If you're referring to the pic post in this thread....it wasn't him. It was another team. AgentR8 (the one in the first video) did not get pulled over and arrested by any Sheriffs.

Pic here:
Audi R8 "Blackbird"

Yes, I saw the Google Roy video, and agree he did get arrested. I erroneously thought you were referencing AgentR8 and/or the video in the first post.

I realized AgentR8 edited his post, where he stated that the above pic was not his vehicle.
