Very cool!

But why no LI?

Why no Cheetah products?

And a tablet-PC/ultramobile certainly has its advantages, but for a vehicle that wired, I'd expected a devoted carputer setup (perhaps running jimbonzzz's V1 emulator, thereby allowing for integration of new data into a dedicated secondary speedtrap database)....

Don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking that ride. That's some kind of nice.

But I think that the above are valid points, no?

I mean, it's not like I'm asking "why no VEIL G4," as that was just released. I'm asking why there's not more of the stuff we already know to work well?

HOLY SHIP! Has a bit more gadgets then Alex's, but mostly all of them are hidden.

I would suggest streaming the digital camera video directly to a hard drive. Eliminate the whole SD process. (Probably need a self-destruct/reformat switch for the hard drive(s), just in case)

Anyone know what the "infrasonic wave pulse generator" seen at minute 2:10 does?

ZJamaican, it just might be a RADAR jammer, they are disguising by its name. Its the only illegal thing missing. Its why they have to keep it cool (I think they were cooling it?) that gets me, and just seems out of place.

Anybody know for sure? A 2 sec. Google does nothing.

its not a radar jammer, i can damm sure tell that. No it most deffinatly is something high tech. Look at the video and it complexity. I think it has something to do with messing up signals, getting a car to move out of your way, disabling the car in front of you maybe, etc.

Like in 2 fast 2 furious that weapon that disabled the car, maybe its a new tech to do the same thing but also not mess up the car. I don't know but its not a radar jammer.

Messing up signals? Isn't that the definition of a RJ? Fine I'll back down a little, its a "passive" radar jammer, not active. But you're right, look at its complexity, heatsink, etc., you think RJ's are simple things that sit on your dash? He even comments on the legality of it.

He mentions it's not illegal 'yet'. I really cannot hazard a guess what that is. I know what Infrasonic is, it's an extremely low-Hz sound. Myth Busters had an amusing run with a 10 Hz 'speaker' at 140-160 db.
