Unfortunately JAZZY, V1's patent is still holding up. Wait 'til it expires and I'm sure escort is looking ahead for adding a rear antenna. Now that the report cards will be erased, the arrows will soon have competition in the future. However, I agree with what you stated regarding the amount of money to spend. Common sense will start to play in the decision making of buying one. It's very obvious to pick a radar detector that costs less and yet has good overall performance and gives very good situational awareness.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

The rampup makes sense in this case. The speed sign and LEO are both at the bottom of the hill. I crest the hill and boom, full alert.

You must not be paying attention. The ZR4s are a budget jammer and perform as such, which is exactly why they are 1/3 the cost of the LIs. Also, look at all of the laser jammer testing on normal cars. The ZR4s almost always give the user enough time to slow down and avoid a ticket. Are they JTG every run? No. But they perform well enough to avoid tickets, which is their job. The only exception is the Stalker, which it basically does not jam at all.

I find every one. It's not rocket science. Full blast Ka, don't speed.
