Default V1 detecting Alberta Sheriff Highway Patrol C/O K band

Nothing special, just a video of the V1 sniffing out a sheriff out on his way to the highway. Decent range on this detection.

Sweet! That's typical of the range I seem to get with C/O too. Where is your V1 mounted?

I have mine mounted high up, centre, in front of my rear view mirror.
The rear antenna of the V1 can still see out of the rear glass though.

Yes I did. But I bought my wife a car, so the V1 is back

It's "too noisy" for her. So it was either the V1 or my marriage.

So yes, the STi's crappy ramp-up does have good use.

Hehehe... good thinking.

I actually thought about starting a thread about which RD people thought was the best for your wife. Well, not for YOUR wife in particular. Just wives in general, lol. Obviously something quiet and low maintenance, yet effective. Good point about the ramp up. I don't think a whole lot of women would even stick with it for long, though, even after a ticket. Like many, mine just wasn't into technology much, and drives with her head up her arse anyhow.
