Default VID: SugarLand PD Crown Vic shooting an LTi

Not the most interesting vid in the world since I was driving to lunch and paying more attention to the Jim Rome show more than the road.

This is not a save since I was only 8 over the PSL. I define a save as 12 miles per hour or more over the Posted Speed Limit.

I was cruising down Hwy 6 to get some gas and ran across this cruiser shooting an LTi at Eastbound traffic. Note: Sugar Land PD has almost caught me twice shooting Moving Instant On Ka on this road (Stalker 34.7) but they shoot a little too often to go un-detected so I was kind of surprised to find the Ultralyte being used by a cager instead of one of the moto units.

And yes, I did slow to the posted limit before killing the jammer ;-) No way I'm getting pulled for five over PSL.

Plus 5 for not listening to crappy music while videoing, but sports talk? Tsk tsk! This is an election year!

Yeah, these encounters are definitely noteworthy. In a lot of jurisdictions, under 10 over tickets are very common. Especially if you're driving a shyte magnet car. While I may let most people pass at 15 over, Mustangs, BMWs and ricers are getting stopped at 6 over every time. So for them, that would have been a save.

^ agreed.

I know I could pull 5 over tickets in the Vette but its so close to the bubble that it's hard to measure whether it's a save or just a pass. So for the purpose of recording, especially on the freeways I use 12 mph over PSL because your sure to get pulled for that.
