What a lunatic. I filmed this today near Tallulah, LA. Can't believe the truck driver didn't give him a honk at least!

No, the SUV got on the highway and decided to pass the truck because it was going too slow. Unfortunately there was already a truck barreling down in the left lane that the SUV driver either didn't notice or didn't care about.

Honestly I'd do the same thing as the truck driver. It's one of my bad habits because normally I'm very disciplined about following distances, but damn, if someone pulls right out in front of me I'm going to let them know I was there trying to occupy the space they're in...

We've had some absolutely devastating wrecks around here for the Memorial Day weekend. Bodies strewn everywhere. Interestingly, they all seem to have involved SUVs. This very well could have been another one! Nice catch!

Exactly. I estimated he was only going about 45mph when he moved to the passing lane, and he sure didn't accelerate much.

PI ex-D actually, but shhh...don't tell anyone Spent a decade lockin' up crooks in one of the busier (and more popular) cities in of the great land Down Under before I moved to this crazy country. And fer anyone wonderin', no I never worked hwy patrol....giving tickets out fer traffic infringements wasn't my thing.
