I assume you would get a little buzz on your right side when there is a car on your right, and a buzz on your left side when there is a car on your left. It'd be like having super-wide peripheral vision.

Offhand this seems like a genuinely useful feature, especially for the ****head who tried to change lanes into the side of my car on the freeway this morning. In that incident, my horn averted disaster, but suppose this douchebag had been blasting his stereo and not heard my horn? The vibrating seat would have still alerted him to my presence.
