Default The Ultimate Carpool Lane Dummy?

I've heard of people putting a blow-up doll in their passenger seat so they can drive in the carpool lane, but this is ridiculous:

Woman Drove Around With Corpse For Nearly a Year
Police say the woman used baking soda in an attempt to dissipate the odor.

Authorities say a woman drove around with a mummified corpse for about ten months before the body was discovered by police.

Police say the woman tried to cover the remains with pieces of clothing.

I don't think I would go to that extreme to save 5 mins off my commute.

How did she park it in public for 10 months and nobody noticed? Did her attempts to conceal the body with pieces of clothing actually work? Nobody would notice a body-shaped mass of clothing sitting in a seat and take concern?

I thought my work trucks smelt bad. I could only imagine the smell of a year old dead corpse.

There have been multiple stories of cars parked with dead bodies inside; meter maids left multiple tickets on these cars but somehow never noticed the dead person inside. So yeah, it's more common than you would think.

I would think a Real Doll would be easier and less smelly.

Perhaps, but since a sex doll isn't a real person it's still illegal to drive in the carpool lane. At least with the corpse it's a gen-yoo-wine human being, and there's nothing in the law that says all passengers in the car must be alive.
