Have you ever been in a position where you see a vehicle on the highway ahead that looks a CHP cruiser going about 10+ over the PSL and you try to decide if you should slow down and stay back or keep getting closer to find out if it is safe to pass? With the minimal marking on cruisers now, hard to tell until you get close if friend or foe.
I wonder if it is CHP and they are already going 10+ over the PSL if you are asking for a ticket to keep getting closer to them to make out for sure the car. It would be a no brainer for the LEO to know you are going at least 10 over the PSL.
I was thinking about getting a small pair of binoculars to have in the car! Anyone else thought about using binoculars? I've had when the car up ahead was going something like 15+ over the PSL and I stayed back a long time only to later find out it was some stupid private security car ahead.
