When you are driving in the middle of nowere and a bored cop pulls gets behind you and keeps hitting you with I/O Ka for 5 minutes straight. Yup, last night I was driving through a strictly enforced area (highway 82 between gordo and reform in Alabama). I slowed down before coming around a corner were I have passed several speed traps recently ( they use I/O Ka ) and sure enough, there he is. The bel goes off full alert. Im pretty much the only one on the road (past midnight). And he starts following me and every 20 second or so he hits me with I/O. that got reallyyy annoying. lol. He finally turned around and when after a guy who didnt dim his high beams. Kinda nerve wracking.

If you had a V1 or other fast-acting RD, you could speed up to 10-15 over and then jab the brakes everytime the LEO I/Os you so he always gets you at PSL... that would probably annoy him enough that he'll stop doing it... or he'll pull you over, so never mind...

Best not to give the "can I outbrake I/O?" noobs any ideas. It doesn't work.

Plus a perfect example why I'm a big fan of the concealed display and custom kill switch.

I had the same thing happen in Nevada a few months back.
Kinda reminded me of "The Simpsons" episode where Bart was intentionally turning the hot water on and off in the kitchen, while Homer was taking a shower.

Welcome Bama fan. I just turn down the volume and smile. Some cops hate Rds esp. when the Rd lights up thru the back glass and the Leo sees what is happening esp. with all of the lights of the V1.......

Yeah, lol. I think he may of saw the display when I passed him the first time because he was looking right at me Thats problably why he started following me. But after I passed him I put the display on dark so he wouldnt see it lighting up.

Troopers in NY do this all the time.. especially at night, hide behind other cars, and tag oncoming traffic with I/O Ka...


Basically it's like a moving shield for them... not only is it moving I/O, it's moving I/O with the benefit of a 'hiding' place.


Just another reason why I almost instantly pull-off and let the LEO go by...
