maryland sniper

I was watching an episode of speeders the other day. Some of you may have seen it or either encountered this in real life.there was a trooper all camo'd out sitting in the woods with a lti and half a mile or so up further was the chase car.I think it was the 410 maybe, either way i'm glad leo's don't do that in my neck of the woods!

Was it a trooper or a sheriff's deputy? I remember seeing an episode of Speeders before, but I thought it was a Calvert County Deputy, the one that drives that big black unmarked SUV. Might have been a different episode though.

There was a state that used to go in the woods wearing camo and shoot radar all the time, I'm trying to think of which state it is. I know I always used to see Houston (TX) Police videos and news articles where they would shoot LIDAR from utility trucks, behind trees, and have officers in tractor trailers looking for reckless driving and seat belt violations. That's pretty cool, but pretty insane too.

when the chase car pulled someone over for 90 in a 55 the officer said the leo in the woods was an x-marine sniper.not sure if it was sheriff, i thought it was a maryland trooper.

I did see that episode. The chase car was a sporty undercover vehicle, wasn't it?

no, it was a marked cruiser pulled over a small white convertible . driver also had suspended license .he didn't arrest him though

Hm, I must be thinking of something else then. I remember one episode of what I thought was Speeders where one leo was hiding in some trees shooting laser, then an unmarked sports car chased the speeders down.

Really no worse than rear shots from an on-ramp. A lot more dramatic though, lol.

Yea this is an older episode of Speeders, it's in Calvert County, MD. It's the dumb Sheriffs office they have nothing better to do all day. They sit on Route 4 its a 55 PSL and can nab people anything above 70. No crime in Calvert county so these cops are a joke, they hit you at about 500 feet with an UltraLyte LRB shooting the front bumper of your car. This doesn't happen anywhere else in MD, usually just the typical sitting in the median staties...

Tool traffic cops/ wanna be state troopers. haha.
