yes, i believe in all the tests the X50 beat the rx65.

Whatever test you saw was incorrect.

Compare them: The X50 is the 2nd best LIDAR detector.

now those are based on the version 4.5 and the 5.0 for the x50.. so what im really wondering is how both 6.1's would fare since when i spoke to escort and bel.. they told me the internals are pretty much the same now and they are both running version 6.1 so there should be really no differences in them. they also told me they did have some detection issues with laser on version 4.5.. so im unsure.. im hoping someone with both units in 6.1 will chime in here..

although it is better it's not very usefull in reality, i got lasered once and I had 0 seconds to slow down :x :arrow:

Since I dont have nor do I plan to buy the x50- someone who has used both the x50 and x65 would be a better person to judge than me.
