Escort Customer Service Question....

First off im a first time poster but ive been around for a while just readin posts and actually finding the answers to my questions using the "search" button unlike 99% of the rest of the board....but anyways...

I had an 8500 for about 2 yrs and it finally went on me (Failed the 3 cal tests and was commin up with service required) so i sent it in to escort and they recieved it on friday the 13th (prob a bad omen).

Now my question time is how long does it usually take for me to get it back? Escort says a few weeks but I thought I saw someone say on here they got it back in a week? All in all I just wanna know how much longer i gotta drive slow for haha. But if anyone has any info on the turn around time id greatly appreciate it.

I dropped my X50 off on a wednesday and it was ready to pick up thursday but i didnt have time so i got it back on friday. of course i only like 25 minutes or so from Escort not to mention i have the extended warranty which puts you in front of everyone else.

Ah, yeah i already want my X50 back from my dad hahaha, but yeah i could buy it then you could ship me the money and i could ship you stuff if you would like it. I may have the hardwire for sale when i get my next car since i will be getting my V1 hardwired, but i haven decided so i can still have both hardwired if i needed one to get serviced and then i could still have the back up one.....

Yea, I got mine hardwired into my jetta. Its just so much better for the fact that no wires but plus in jettas when you turn the car off the cigg lighter doesnt turn off so i used to leave it on by accident all the time. But USPS said Escort got the package on friday so now its just the waiting game.......... :?
