Dont be confused. You can say that its kind of a contest. But the actual reason behind this is that she wants to give away her radar to some one who needs one desperately........coz she is done with radar detectors!

Hmmm if i got another X50 i would probally give it to my mother :wink: i think she is jealous of mine and she really needs one more then me. o how that women loves to speed.

My girl needs a detector and she cant afford one with oweing her mom 2,000 dollars from when she hydro-planed into a ditch and having to pay from her pocket

Since I am a gadget freak, I would use the X50 w/ my radar/laser gun and a couple of other older rd's and see how the X50 reacts to each item.

I'd love a blue x50 and could certainly use it as I am currently unprotected. I had an STi but returned it when it wasn't working, and my wife would get mad if I spent money on another RD as our first child was born just 11 days ago (and we're both grad students). To make it worse, they're installing speed cameras where I live (Rockville, MD) in a couple of months, so I will probably have to look into getting something before the years end.

I would need one because that would help me out in paying my bills because I'm thinking that I might have to sell mine soon to pay my bills (mostly my car) so it would leave me very unprotected and here they are getting really sneaky and getting you for about 7-8 over sometimes, using a lot of instant on and laser. I'm a college student, and even though I'm working, my boss reduced the hours of work for almost everyone drastically. So I have to look for another job.
