Default Which is better ( x50 vs. solo s2)

I read a lot of reviews about x50. It seems to be it is the best detector in the market now. However, I can't find any reviews about solo s2. I am kind of interested in solo s2 since it is cordless and claimed to have a lot more features. I am new to radar detectors, pros please help me out here. Thanks

so all the features that solo s2 claimed was not real.... I think I will go with the blue x50. The blue version and the red version basically are the same right? except the display color.

Yeah easy one the X50. It is like someone asking should I go with a cordless vaccum cleaner or a corded one. You are giving up performance for convenience

I have the X50 and my roommate has the S2. We share cars a lot so I experience both of them and trust both of them. Yes, the X50 blows the S2 out of the water with range, HOWEVER, the S2's range will be good for anyone if you have to have a cordless. It's not a bad detector at all, but seeing that it costs more then the X50 I would definatly go X50. And, I have the red edition. The blue is a waste of 40 or 50 bucks as I see it, but that is just me.

Do you think applying Veil to a silver car would look very strange? I have a silver liberty..

My friend bought an S2 about a week before I got my x50. I liked the S2 but I thought about it and it just makes sense to get a wired RD. I just ordered a hardwire kit from Roy so it doesn't matter anyways.

The remote mute is a nice feature also, as it is right behind my shifter I don't have to reach up to mute.

The blue is a waste of money, but pretty much every light in my interior/dash/radio is blue, so I had to do it :? Blue just looks much nicer
