cb cause laser false?

I dont know if this should be here or in the cb section... but i got a laser false the other day on my x50. I drive a camaro, and every part of the body except the hood and rear quarter panels are fiberglass, so i had to put my magnet mount antenna on the hood. I put it near the windshield, on the passenger side corner. This is the only place that i can put my antenna. Is there any possibility that this could be the culprit for my laser false??

I had a laser falsing problem on my V1 that was caused by my CB. When I would hit the mic to talk, I would get a laser alert. Turned out that I had a weak battery--it was a low voltage issue. When I would talk on the CB, it would draw alot of power, and cause the voltage to drop--and the V1 to laser false.

that would make sense for me, only in a different way. My car has two cig lighters on console. x50 plugged into one of them and teh cb in the other. Maybe i'll try hardwiring my x50 to another source if i decide to keep using the cd.
