just bought my x50

Hey guys jus got my x50 v6.1 and i was reading about the settings with the bands and am band new to this and today on the way home i got a false readings of X band passing a CVS and false Ka band passing a hardware store... any ideas?? I see alot people keep their X band off. I live in New York, any suggestions?

and the scrolling dot...
plus sign for highway use, cause i did test, ,and the computer does slow it down a tad bit.. plus gives all..

i sold my x50 for a v1 about 2 months later..

i dont understand what you mean by "plus gives all"... what is the difference in your understanding between the dot and plus sign?

Welcome to the board idontknow2075. My thoughts would be to have on k,ka, and laser around NYC. When heading to upstate NY, probably turn your x band back on. I read something about Suffolk NY probably using x band. Not sure. Airmoore, can you help this guy w/ NY?
