Interesting commercial. I wonder if it will ever hit the air. It would def. increase their revenue.
Those Cobras get promoted like they are the sh*t ....... and they are sh*t........ but they make some good dough on users that dont know any better 8)
Escort could do the same.........Right?? :?:
I enjoyed how it changed from "HIGHWAY" to "SPEED" in a matter of seconds. . .
Good commercial though.
If I hadn't already tried one I would have been reeled right in.
Ace
The commercial ran twice on Versus during the two NHL Playoff games. I was surprised.
I learned that the "i" is for intelligent.
Pretty good commercial. While it didn't actually show police radar or laser, it did show the detector alerting to false signals, and the user operating the buttons, and listening to the alerts, and talked about it's features.
Did anyone else notice that only white guys were in it, and they weren't acting stupid? Quite different from most commercials on TV.
They are just trying to counter all the negative comments about its performance, bugs, glitches, lack of working features, etc.
It's not mounted level in the end shot...did they get some cobra users to produce the video?
more of a short infomercial that is too long to be shown at any time other than late night or cable stations. But it is informative and not innacurate. Maybe they should not have even mentiond the cost though, which is sure to be sticker shock for the average joe who buys radar detectors from infomercials.
agreed on the price. From a marketing standpoint they will drive a lot of people away like that. Just say for more information go to our website at blah blah. Then once people are on there, give a lot more detailed information on how great it is, then have the price at the bottom with FREE SHIPPING or something and a big buy now button.Originally Posted by jwardell
