What should the setting be for MA?

I just bought a 8500 X50 (the reviews for the 9500 were not very +ve). This is my first RD and I just wonder what setting should I have for MA.

I keep our units in the CITY mode most of the time with X band switched off. Wife is intolerant of nagging falses and just unplugs the unit so I have to keep it as quiet as possible. I'm pretty sure POP is off, too.

Where are you located? If you're in one of the more urban areas definitely shut off X band completely.

I've never seen it used in MA, then again I've had it shut off for a year now.
